Specialty Service

Every metallic floor is built in layers — each one serving a specific structural or aesthetic role.

Step 1 — MVB

Moisture Vapour Barrier
The first layer applied to the concrete slab. The MVB blocks moisture vapour transmission from below, protecting every layer above and ensuring long-term adhesion. Skipping this step is the leading cause of coating failure on concrete slabs.

Step 2 — Base Coat

Colour Foundation

An industrial-grade epoxy base coat is applied in your chosen colour. This layer establishes the visual base and creates a hardened, protective bond to the freshly prepared concrete surface.

Step 3 — Metallic Layer

The Art
A thick, highly fluid metallic coating is mixed with your selected colour(s) and applied across the floor. Our installers use specialized rollers, squeegees, and controlled airflow to manipulate the wet material — creating the one-of-a-kind swirl, wave, or lava-flow pattern that defines each floor. No two floors are ever identical.

Step 4 — Polyurethane Topcoat

Maximum Strength
A high-performance polyurethane topcoat is applied as the final seal, delivering the hardest, most durable surface possible. Polyurethane outperforms standard epoxy topcoats in abrasion resistance, chemical resistance, and UV stability.

How long does a garage floor coating take?

Most single-car or two-car garage floor projects are completed in one to two days. A standard single-car garage typically takes one full day: half a day for surface prep and grinding, and the second half for coating application. Larger four-car garages or complex metallic systems may require two days. We’ll give you an exact timeline when we assess your floor.
